Bathurst (Central) is bounded by Mitre Street, a line running continuous of Mitre Street and the Macquarie River in the north, Queen Charlottes Creek in the east, Rocket Street, Havannah Street and Leena Street in the south, and Panorama Avenue, Browning Street, Peel Street and Lambert Street in the west. Bathurst (Central) is named after Lord Bathurst, Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies.
