Key findings

In 2016, the dominant household type in Wollondilly Shire Council was Couple families with dependents, which accounted for 43.9% of all households.

The largest increase between 2016 and 2031 is forecast to be in Couple families with dependents, which will increase by 4,010 households and account for 44.6% of all households.

In contrast Group households is forecast to increase by 88 households, to comprise 1.3% of all households in 2031, compared to 1.5% in 2016.
