Key findings

In 2016, the dominant household type in Tolland was Lone person households, which accounted for 28.5% of all households.

The largest increase between 2016 and 2026 is forecast to be in One parent family, which will increase by 32 households and account for 17.2% of all households.

In contrast Couples without dependents is forecast to decrease by 25 households, to comprise 23.3% of all households in 2026, compared to 25.7% in 2016.
