Key findings

In 2021, the dominant household type in West Tamworth (Central) was Lone person households, which accounted for 42.5% of all households.

The largest increase between 2021 and 2026 is forecast to be in Couple families with dependents, which will increase by 14 households and account for 17.2% of all households.

In contrast Lone person households is forecast to decrease by 16 households, to comprise 40.8% of all households in 2026, compared to 42.5% in 2021.
