Key findings

In 2021, the dominant household type in Malvern (South) was Lone person households, which accounted for 32.4% of all households.

The largest increase between 2021 and 2026 is forecast to be in Couple families with dependents, which will increase by 104 households and account for 30.1% of all households.

In contrast Other families is forecast to increase by 19 households, to comprise 1.9% of all households in 2026, compared to 1.5% in 2021.
