There were 2,611 people estimated to be living in non-private dwellings in Shoalhaven City Council in 2021. The number of persons in non-private dwellings in Shoalhaven City Council is expected to increase to 3,311 persons in 2031 and to 3,769 persons in 2051.

Between 2021 and 2031, Milton - Mollymook - Mollymook Beach - Narrawallee & Surrounds is forecast to experience the greatest change, with a gain of 480 persons in non-private dwellings. This is due to an increase of persons in non-private dwellings aged 75 years and over, which is predominantly aged care.
