Key findings

There were 2,291 people estimated to be living in non-private dwellings in City of Port Phillip in 2021. The number of persons in non-private dwellings in City of Port Phillip is expected to increase to 2,563 persons in 2026 and to 2,603 persons in 2041.

Between 2021 and 2026, St Kilda is forecast to experience the greatest change, with a gain of 240 persons in non-private dwellings. This is due to an increase of persons in non-private dwellings aged 75 years and over, which is predominantly aged care.
