North Narrabeen is bounded generally by Mullett Creek, Garden Street, Jacksons Road, Pittwater Road and Walsh Street in the north, the Tasman Sea and the Narrabeen Lagoon in the east, the Narrabeen Lagoon and Deep Creek in the south, and the suburb of Elanora Heights, Woorarra Lookout Reserve, Woorarra Avenue, Wakehurst Parkway, Mirrool Street, Weeroona Avenue, Anana Road, Eungai Place, Powder Works Road and Irrawong Road in the west.
