In 2021, the dominant household type in Melton Growth Areas was Couple families with dependents, which accounted for 51.8% of all households.

The largest increase between 2021 and 2031 is forecast to be in Couple families with dependents, which will increase by 15,296 households and account for 49.2% of all households.

In contrast Group households is forecast to increase by 524 households, to comprise 1.7% of all households in 2031, compared to 1.8% in 2021.
