Key findings

In 2021, the dominant household type in City of Knox was Couple families with dependents, which accounted for 37.1% of all households.

The largest increase between 2021 and 2031 is forecast to be in Lone person households, which will increase by 1,489 households and account for 21.7% of all households.

In contrast Group households is forecast to increase by 121 households, to comprise 2.4% of all households in 2031, compared to 2.4% in 2021.
