In 2016, the dominant household type in Greenwood was Couple families with dependents, which accounted for 35.4% of all households.

The largest increase between 2016 and 2031 is forecast to be in Lone person households, which will increase by 207 households and account for 21.6% of all households.

In contrast One parent family is forecast to decrease by 8 households, to comprise 9.1% of all households in 2031, compared to 10.4% in 2016.
