Key findings

In 2021, the dominant household type in Altona North was Couple families with dependents, which accounted for 31.8% of all households.

The largest increase between 2021 and 2026 is forecast to be in Couple families with dependents, which will increase by 541 households and account for 34.5% of all households.

In contrast Other families is forecast to increase by 52 households, to comprise 3.4% of all households in 2026, compared to 3.2% in 2021.
