Between 2016 and 2031, the age structure forecasts for Canning Vale indicate a 9.3% decrease in population under working age, a 65.0% increase in population of retirement age, and a 12.6% decrease in population of working age.

Key findings

In 2016, the dominant age structure for persons in Canning Vale was ages 50 to 54, which accounted for 8.7% of the total persons.
