Key findings

There were 1,651 people estimated to be living in non-private dwellings in the City of Bayside in 2021. The number of persons in non-private dwellings in the City of Bayside is expected to increase to 2,101 persons in 2031 and to 2,401 persons in 2041.

Between 2021 and 2031, Brighton is forecast to experience the greatest change, with a gain of 225 persons in non-private dwellings. This is due to an increase of persons in non-private dwellings aged 75 years and over, which is predominantly aged care.
