Lone person households:
The map and table show the proportion of lone person households in all small areas of Moyne Shire and the forecast change in the number between 2001 and 2016. The most significant concentration of lone person households in 2001 was in Port Fairy & District and Mortlake & District, areas which also have a higher proportion of older persons.
Increases are expected in all areas to 2016 as a result of ageing, with the most substantial gains expected in Koroit & District and Port Fairy & District. Lower gains are expected in Rural West and Rural East.
