The map and table show the proportion of 5-11 year olds in all small areas of Moyne Shire and the forecast change in the number between 2001 and 2016. In 2001, the concentration of primary-school aged children was relatively even across the LGA. Koroit & District, Rural East and Rural West all shared a similar rate for the highest concentration of people in this age group, followed by Mortlake & District then Port Fairy & District.
All areas are expected to experience a decline in the number of primary-schoolers to 2016, with Mortlake & District and Rural West expected to experience the largest decrease.
