Moyne Shire is bounded by Southern Grampians Shire and Ararat Rural City in the north, Corangamite Shire in the east, Warrnambool City and the Southern Ocean in the south and Glenelg Shire in the west. Major centres include Port Fairy, Mortlake and Koroit.
